Pediatric Chiropractic
A few words on Chiropractic and Pediatrics

There are less than 20 Board Certified Pediatric Chiropractors in California.

Dr. Waters has a Diplomate in Clinical Chiropractic Pediatrics (DICCP) which is a Board Certified credential in pediatrics for doctors of chiropractic.  As a DICCP, Dr. Waters has completed more than 360 hours of training over a three year period.  This training included pre-natal, birth, post-partum, infant care, toddler care, school age-adolescents, neurology, nutrition, pediatric orthopedics, radiology, sports injuries, and wellness care.

Dr. Waters treats patients during each stage of pregnancy and child hood.

Patients have reported success with a variety of issues such as scoliosis, autism, delayed growth development, sports injuries, torticollis, constipation,  reflux, tongue tie and latching difficulties, and gait challenges.

Tongue-Tie Care

Dr. Waters has had extensive training to treat tongue tie in infants. The chiropractic approach is non-invasive and highly effective. Dr. Waters works collaboratively with local IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant) lactation consultants and pediatric dentists. The goal of treatment for infants with tongue tie is to minimize the need for surgical interventions (frenectomies).

The amount of pressure a chiropractor uses to adjust an infant is equivalent to the pressure one uses to check the ripeness of a tomato.
